Dave "Snaker" Ray, Front Porch Swingin' Liquor Pigs, John "Spider" Koerner, Ray Koerner &Amp; Glover, Tony Glover
One of the all time great acoustic folk blues trios, Koerner, Ray and Glover deliver a no frills bar concert for the cameras, captured live in 2002. The band featured Tony "Little Sun" Glover on harmonica, "Spider" John Koerner on guitar and vocals, and Dave "Snaker" Ray on guitar and vocals. One of the originals from the early 60s folk explosion, they released their first record in 1963. As the liner notes say his DVD is "simply three guys who know exactly what they are doing, playing timeless tunes, having fun, turning a club with over 1000 folks into the hippest of parlors, a virtual back porch."
This musical release from the blues band Koerner, Ray and Glover captures a live concert by the group, recorded live at First Avenue in Minneapolis. Some of the tracks featured in the performance include "Black Jack Davy", "Black Dog Blues", "Sad Hours", and more.
