| Fronted by their ever-present leader, the irrepressible Mark E. Smith, the Fall's career now spans over twenty-five years and countless albums, full of Smith's sharp witted lyrics and the brilliantly inventive music created by the ever changing line up of musicians the frontman has enlisted. The band have always been a popular live draw - with Smith's wit and stage presence always to the fore - and nowhere more so than in their home city of Manchester. 'Live At The Hacienda' features a collection of material taken from four shows the band played at the world famous Hacienda club in Manchester during the mid-1980's. Amongst the tracks featured are Independent Chart top five hit 'Kicker Conspiracy' and live favourites including 'God Box' and 'What You Need'. There is also some excellent bonus footage featuring an interview with Mark E. Smith. |
