Punk Rock action from Red Alert. Features two full shows. The first was filmed during the U.S tour of 2000 and the second during the 'Holidays In The Sun' festival in Japan 2002.
The first ever DVD to feature one of the true stalwart bands of Punk Rock Red Alert. The group was formed in Sunderland in the North East of England in around May 1979. The original line up was Steve 'Cast Iron' Smith (Vocals), Tony Van Frater (Guitar), Gaz Stuart (Bass) and Dona (Drums). On the advice of Gary Bushell the band sent their first EP and two demos to No Future records and within a week had signed their first recording contract. The original line-up released four albums before splitting in 1985. However, the band reformed in 1990 and have now been touring the world playing to packed houses for over fifteen years, while recording a host of well received albums. Under A Catalonian Sky features two full shows with the band at its rocking best. The first show at the Sister's Bar in Barcelona comes from the group's 2004 European tour and the second bonus show was filmed during their U.S. tour of 2000. Among the tracks featured are their three Independent chart top thirty hits 'In Britain', 'Take No Prisoners' and 'City Invasion'. *Please note you will need an All Code DVD player to view.
Red Alert: Under a Catalonian Sky features two full performances by the punk band that specializes in a specific offshoot of the genre known as Oi! One concert dates from a 2000 appearance in the United States, while the other documents a 2004 show held at Barcelona's Sister Bar while they were playing gigs across Europe.
