On the 21st of March 1982, a Sunday night at the Bingley Hall in Birmingham, five cameramen wisely anchored their cameras to pillars to avoid the crush of 5000 fans, and waited in mounting and nervous excitement to capture the power of The Jam.
This DVD shows the raw power, emotion and atmosphere of early gigs from a band that changed a legion of young people. Rare concert presentation featuring the Jam - originally released on VHS in 1985 but never available on DVD. Includes UK number one single Town Called Malice, a cover of Curtis Mayfield classic Move On Up and several performances of rare Jam material not available elsewhere.
The Jam are one of Britain's most celebrated rock bands, with 22 hit singles (including four number one's) and 17 hit albums.
This concert release captures a 1982 show by the popular British rock band The Jam. Frontman Paul Weller and the rest of the guys serve up over a half-dozen tunes including "A town Called Malice," "Move On Up," "Ghosts," and "Pretty Green."
