Onka’s Big Moka is the debut studio album by English band Toploader,
reaching #4 in the UK Album Chart. The song “Dancing in the Moonlight”,
a cover of the King Harvest song, became a worldwide hit. Joseph
Washbourne’s keyboards take center stage throughout the album, while
his gravelly vocals, by turns joyful and melancholy, are well-suited to
the band’s brand of dance-oriented rock. Most of the music is similar to
“Dancing” - with a modern, ‘70s-retro flair, sure to get you in the mood
to either sing along or jump up and dance around.
Available as a 20th anniversary edition of 1000 individually numbered
copies on orange swirled vinyl. The package includes a wonderful
8-page booklet with lyrics and pictures. |
