There is a freshness across this album. There is some fantastic boogie rock, some fantastic hard rock, and some fantastic prog rock on this recording plus their signature element, superb melodies and of course their wonderful twin guitar work. And has there ever been a better or more complimentary pair of guitarists as Ted Turner and Andy Powell? The highlights "Strange Affair", "Wings Of Desire" and "Standing In The Rain" are all of the sort of quality of the ‘Argus’ period, whilst being with a very different and more modern sound. The real treat are the end solos by Andy Powell on “Strange Affair” and “Dream Train” and by Ted Turner on “Standing in the Rain”.
