Using homemade keyboards and customized synths, James produced a vast textured soundscape of contrasting styles and speeds. Initially released as a limited edition pressing on vinyl by U.K. independent Mighty Force, 'Analogue Bubblebath' remains the benchmark for the burgeoning ambient techno movement. This is the first time this work has been made available on compact disc and the first time its been released in the United States. |
