| The complete LP Eric Dolphy in Europe (Debut Records DEB- 136), which consisted of five tracks from a concert recorded by the saxophonist in Copenhagen on September 8, 1961.
The concert showcases Dolphy as the only horn in a quartet format, backed by a local rhythm section. Bassist Chuck Israels, who was among the audience, joins Dolphy on a duet version of Randy Weston’s “Hi-Fly,” and Dolphy offers an outstanding unaccompanied bass clarinet version of Billie Holiday’s “God Bless the Child.”

The other three songs performed during that concert, as well as an alternative version of “In the Blues,” have been added as a bonus.
