Award-winning choreographer Mark Morris presents this ballet in two acts, based on Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker and The Mouse King by ETA Hoffmann. Filmed at the Theatre Royal de la Monnaie, Brussels in 1992, the production features pop art sets by American cartoonist Charles Burns. The Symphony Orchestra and Chorus of the Theatre Royal de la Monnaie are conducted by the theatre's Musical Director Sylvain Cambreling.
