Pianist Fred Hersch has been turning in top-notch performances as both a sideman and a leader since the late 1970s and early '80s. 2006's IN AMSTERDAM: LIVE AT THE BIMHUI is a Hersch tour de force that has the artist moving through a diverse and challenging repertoire of piano music.
