On Remembering Christmas, David Benoit, consistently one of the jazz worlds most versatile keyboard players and arrangers, duets with legendary pianist Dave Brubeck, adapting Mendelssohn's classic melody into a unique 5/4 arrangement that allows both pianists to stretch out on their dual grand pianos. Michael Franks' unmistakable voice joins Benoit's versatile piano in a samba-esque version of "Christmas Time is Here," from Vince Guaraldi's beloved score to A Charlie Brown Christmas. Earl Klugh's satiny guitar adds just the right touch to Benoit's ice-smooth arrangement of "Skating," (also from the classic animated special).
