This workmanlike disc by the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra features Wynton Marsalis in a tribute to Duke Ellington. The question is, do they pay tribute to anyone else? The performance is fine, but a little rote, turning the master's work into dogma. Hardly a tribute.
