A historic release documenting Sun Ra's performance at Hackney Empire on October 28, 1990, the following night after his already legendary performance with a symphony orchestra in Orleans, France (earlier released as CD LR 210/211 PLEIADES -- but this CD no longer exists). Leo Records' distribution license for this recording (CD LR 214/215) runs out in 2006. This double CD will never be repeated in the same form again which makes it an instant collector's item. |
