"Luz Negra is a travel, a story of emotions in color, the musical tale of a life made of meetings, of shared passions by discovering new countries with different lights, climates and rhythms." --- Richard Galliano, Sao Paulo, September 2006
Richard Galliano is known as the master of accordion. Inspired by his mentor, Astor Piazzolla, Galliano turned a popular instrument into a universal one. Galliano composed Luz Negra under the influence of Latin-American melodies while recording in São Paulo. This is his first studio recording since 2001's "Face to Face". |
