Antolini with his Jazz Power Project proving hes one of the best drummers in the world.
Charly Antolini can superimpose such complex rhythms that its sometimes hard to believe that you are only listening to one drummer. Nevertheless, a swinging rhythm is an absolute must for him, and his guiding principle is, as he says himself, to express something with every beat. With the international line-up of his Jazz Power project at the 2002 Hot Jazz Festival, he triumphantly proved once again that he is one of the best drummers in the world.
