"LIVE IN REYKJAVIK" presents Icelandic Jazz Funk superstars MEZZOFORTE in concert on home ground with a set list which encompasses all their hits and favourite crowd pleasers and is the band's first official DVD release. MEZZOFORTE were formed in 1977 in Iceland by 4 teenage friends with a shared interest in fusion and funk music. The worldwide hit "GARDEN PARTY" from their 4th album made them the first Icelandic band to achieve international recognition. 30 years, 11 albums and over a thousand concerts later the band is still going strong with 3 of 4 original members touring regularly with a 6-10 piece band. The 2 cd set was recorded in one of Reykjavik's legendary club. The DVD was filmed using 10 cameras and includes bonus material, interview footage and videos from the band's 30 year history.
