RMS is comprised of guitarist Ray Russell, bass player Mo Foster, and drummer Simon Phillips. Between them they have a wide array of credits, having played with Jeff Beck, Toto, the Who, Tina Turner, and Cat Stevens, while television composition, book authoring, and record producing are among their other endeavors. Here, the group plays with guest pianist Gil Evans at Switzerland's Montreux Jazz Festival in July 1983.
