Based in Milan, Italy, Piero Milesi studied electronic and experimental compositions at the Conservatorio "G. Verdi" in Milan after early training as a cellist. He graduated from the University of Architecture in Milan, where he wrote a dissertation on the relationships between space and music. Milesi has composed many pieces for visual spectacles, from ballet to film to fireworks displays. Working now primarily as a composer, he has scored numerous film, video, and television soundtracks, and released several albums on Cuneiform.
