2008 digitally remastered collection that combines Davis' album Round About Midnight with his Miles Ahead album. 1955's Round About Midnight was Davis' first Columbia album and featured a young John Coltrane, 1957's Miles Ahead reunited Davis with Gil Evans and featured a 19 piece band with Davis being the only soloist. Both albums are considered to be essential Miles Davis recordings. 1
