This odd CD has four of the five selections from Jazz At Oberlin (1953) and five of the six from Jazz At College Of The Pacific (1954), both of which are available in more complete form on two CD's. The music (which features pianist Dave Brubeck and altoist Paul Desmond in top form while being supported by bassist Ron Crotty and either Lloyd Davis or Joe Dodge on drums) is excellent, but the logic behind this fragmented release is questionable.
