In September 2003 Howard Jones celebrated the 20th anniversary of his first hit single New Song by performing live at The Shepherd's Bush Empire in London to a packed audience.
This sensational 267 minute Dolby Digital 5.1 live in concert DVD was performed in four parts:
*Acoustic: With accompaniments by Robin Boult (acoustic guitar), Nick Beggs (Chapman Stick) and Andy Ross (bass) *Retro: In which Howard recreated his original 1983 synth rig which involved live programming between songs *Electronic Band: Two brand new songs were performed "Revolution of The Heart" and "Just Look At You Now" *Full Band: The final part of the evening featured the Howard Jones big band in which the electronic band was augmented with guest appearances by Nena and Midge Ure of Ultravox.
From his early mid 80 releases with New Song, What Is Love, Hide And Seek to Like To Get To Know You Well, Look Mama, Things Can Only Get Better and the classic No One Is To Blame Howard Jones demonstrates what a talented virtuoso he really is. This DVD includes bonus interviews. |
