Gong Maison came about following a French gig leader Daevid Allen did with former Gong member Didier Malherbe. The subsequent Gong Maison was formed in April 1989. The band took their name as it alluded to the mixture of House/Jazz that the band played at the time although it still contained all the relevant Gong elements of old. This performance comes from the band's performance in the early '90s and was filmed at the Fridge in Brixton. The line up includes key members of Gong Daevid Allen, Didier Malherbe and Gilli Smyth. Features exclusive interviews with Daevid Allen and Didier Malherbe. Also includes bonus CD featuring the soundtrack to this concert. |
