B. Bumble And The Stingers were actually a pseudonym for a top-notch group of studio musicians and the "house band" for Rendezvous Records. As was commonplace for session groups at the time, with minor personnel changes, they also recorded songs under the names of the Ernie Fields Orchestra ("In The Mood", which I also have posted), The Routers ("Let's Go"), and The Marketts ("Out Of Limits", "Batman Theme"). Since they were studio musicians and already had commitments to other projects, an unknown teenage group who had nothing to do with the recording of the song was recruited to pose as "B. Bumble And The Stingers" for promotions and appearances.
