Scofield assembled the finest electric jazz minds of the time for this session: bassist Darryl Jones (Miles Davis), keyboardist Don Grolnick (Steps Ahead) and drummer Omar Hakim (Weather Report). Then he turned them loose on seven new Scofield compositions, added his guitar, and once again made the music world take notice that John Scofield was a guitarist and composer to be reckoned with.
