Soulive is made up of brothers Neal and Alan Evans on organ and drums respectively and Eric Krasno on guitar. This 20-something, neo-soul jazz trio combines the funky jazz of Jimmy Smith & Grant Green, the classic funk of James Brown & The Meters, and the current hip-hop grooves of D'Angelo & The Roots into a sound that is entirely their own.

Includes liner notes by Eli Wolf.
