A very satisfactory wrap-up of the swing man's career, ASV/Living Era's Moonlight Serenade packs 50 songs into a two-disc set. Though it's very similar to the sonically superior Bluebird package Platinum Glenn Miller, this one does include an excellent runthrough of the hits ("Moonlight Serenade," "Little Brown Jug," "Pennsylvania 6-5000," "[I've Got a Gal In] Kalamazoo") and the great performances ("Tuxedo Junction," "Elmer's Tune," "Serenade in Blue," "Song of the Volga Boatmen").
