A collection of sensitively performed guitar and sax duets by Yugoslavian guitarist Miroslav and sax player Peter Epstein. Pieces include the 2 beautiful Macedonian folk songs, "Zajdi Zajdi" and "Pajduska," "Lady L" (by Indian violinist L. Shankar), free improvisations, originals and an arrangement of "Nana," a lullaby by Spanish composer Manuel de Falla. "Without Words" blends elements of creative improvisation with the musical traditions of the Mediterranean, near east and India. |
