Tango on Broadway was Gardel's second movie with Paramount Pictures. Gardel himself described the film as a joyful comedy, with plenty of jocular tricks. Everyone is confident it will be highly entertaining. The plot is quite simple: an Argentine's playboy life in New York is suddenly threatened by the arrival of a stern uncle who has travelled from Argentina. The demanding, harsh uncle finally gives in to the temptations of New York's nightlife. Songs: Soledad, Caminito soleado, Golondrinas and Rubias de Nueva York. |
