Jazz / Smooth Jazz
Kool Jazz at Maiden is a rather inept seven song collection assembling one performance from Pat Metheny ("Move to the Groove"), three from Dave Brubeck (including the perennial "Blue Rondo a la Turk"), and three more from (bizarrely enough) blues legend B.B. King. The compilation format doesn't lend itself well to the live material -- who wants to hear just a three song set from Brubeck? -- and the inclusion of King is mystifying in light of the title.
