In 1972 B.B. King, his full band and Joan Baez and her sister, the late Mimi Farina, spent the day with the inmates of New York's maximum security prison, Sing Sing. This concert feature film shows everything that happend there - including a spectacular concert.
B.B. King said that this was the best concert that he ever gave. Sing Sing Thanksgiving won top awards at film festivals around the world, including New York, Chicago and London. New York's Daily News called it one of the greatest concert moments in live entertainment. |
