In 2003 Cherry Red Records issued the first ever DVD compilation to feature the Psychobilly genre - "Psycho Cats". Following the continuing success of this release (and many others from the Psychobilly genre) - Cherry Red are delighted to announce the release of the follow-up DVD to "Psycho Cats" - "Revenge Of The Psycho Cats". The Psychobilly scene sprang to life in the early 1980's, with bands combining the spirit and sound of Punk with classic rock n' roll and country influences to produce a new and unique genre. Some of the scene's most popular bands and songs are featured, including The Meteors with Indie Chart hit "Please Don't Touch The Bang Bang Fruit", Demented Are Go, Long Tall Texans and Guana Batz, along with many cult classic treats from the Psychobilly scene's bizarre extremes. With both live footage and some very creative promo video material, "Psycho Cats" is a must see for any fan of the Psychobilly Genre. Covering nearly twenty years of rockin' mayhem, this DVD is proof positive of the enduring influence of raw mutant Psychobilly.
