Jem Cohen's acclaimed documentary on the first ten years of Fugazi -- perhaps America's best and most influential underground rock band -- has been released on DVD by the group's Dischord label in an edition with exclusive bonus material. The film has been transferred to disc in its original 1.33:1 aspect ratio, and the audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo. The disc does not feature closed captioning or subtitles. In addition to the feature, the DVD Fugazi: Instrument includes two short films directed by Cohen, Little Flag and Glue Man (both of which include music by Fugazi), as well as three additional live performances from the band that were not included in the film -- "Long Division," "Turnover," and "Waiting Room." |
